Funding Sources:
- Philanthropists: We are to secure commitments from renowned philanthropists, including the Foundations, Individuals Donors, Corporate Social Responsibility Initiatives and International Organisations to support our
- High-Net-Worth Individuals: We are to partner with influential high-net-worth individuals, through: Personal Connections, Philanthropic events, Professional networks who may have pledged their support for our
- Public Sector: We are to secure funding from public sector through Government Grants, Public-Private Partnerships, Budget Allocation, Tendering Processes, and Policy Influence to support our
- Private Sector: We are to secure funding from private sector through Corporate Social Responsibility – CSR, Sponsorship, Investments, Donations, Partnerships, We are to secure funding from public sector through with leading private sector companies, support our
Funding Allocation:
- Grant Funding: 30% of our funding will come from grants from philanthropists and high-net-worth
- Investment: 40% of our funding will come from investments from private sector companies and high- net-worth individuals.
- Government Funding: 20% of our funding will come from government agencies and
- Corporate Social Responsibility: 10% of our funding will come from corporate social responsibility initiatives from private sector
Funding Mechanisms:
- Seed Funding: We will secure seed funding to support the launch of new initiatives and
- Matching Funds: We will secure matching funds to leverage additional funding from other
- Investment Funds: We will establish investment funds to support entrepreneurship/business
- Grants: We will secure grants to support specific initiatives and programs.
Funding Requirements:
- Start-up Costs: (Initial Funding): Funding of ₦1 Billion to support the launch and implementation of the prosperity partnership with the coverage of operational costs, staffing, and initial program expenses
- Program Costs: Ongoing Funding of ₦99 billion to support the continued implementation and expansion of the prosperity partnership (training, capacity-building, access to credit, digital financial services, start-up support, and export development initiatives)
Total Funding Requirement: ₦100 billion Governance Structure:
Our funding model is governed by a robust governance structure that ensures transparency, accountability, and effective management of funds. Our governance structure includes:
- Board of Trustees: Our Board of Trustees provides oversight and strategic direction for our funding
- Investment Committee: Our Investment Committee reviews and approves investment
- Grant Review Committee: Our Grant Review Committee reviews and approves grant applications
- Establish a governance structure that outlines the responsibilities of the promoters/ consultants
- Establish a secretariat to coordinate the activities of the
- Establish technical working groups and management team that is responsible for the day-to-day activities and to support the implementation of the Partnership
- Establish a reporting and communication framework to ensure that the stakeholders are informed
